GOLDEN Arches will be coming down once again, with the latest decision to shutter another popular burger business.
McDonalds is set to close its third location this month in New York state.

Earlier this Fall, foodies said goodbye to the McDonald’s location in Latham, New York, near Albany.
On October 27, the franchise also confirmed the closure of its iconic Empire State Plaza food court location.
Now, diners have just a few days left before the McDonalds will close down in Camden.
The franchise is owned by the Clark restaurant chain. Clark representatives have not explained why the Camden McDonalds will cease operations.

However, an employee has told the Daily Sentinel that winter sales have played a part in the decision.
“I know there are some stories and speculations floating around, but I was informed [by corporate] that a large reason why we’re closing is that during the winter time, we do get kind of slow, and labor can be a hard thing to balance with the kind of money we make,” said manager Mackenzie Berry.
Berry was surprised to learn that the slow business had caused the business to close for good. She said that sales had been good up until this point.
“We’ve broken our sales record and have made the most this store has made in the 33-year-old business, and we broke that record twice in the last year,” she said.

Berry added that McDonald’s is giving some employees the option to transfer to other locations.
“However, that’s not feasible for everyone, and it’s kind of up in the air for what to do next for all the employees,” she said.
“But we’ve been a team for a very long time and became very close and so we’re all going to help each other through this and figure out what to do next and where to go.”
October 31 will be the last day of business, which happens to be Halloween.
McDonald's has also lost nearly 10 stores in New York State due to the redevelopment of 27 service areas.
The burger giant has closed down over 400 locations between 2019 to 2021, per Restaurant Business.
